William and our pack

Like us, you and your dog are a team. So our approach is based in training and understanding both teammates. We specialize in teaching and coaching you how to provide the corrections that allow you and your dog find a happy, trusting, and easy way to live. Most of my clients need only a few sessions to get them on track.

We was found in a meth lab shed in bad condition. In custody for 18 months. Not a good start for a Chessie

Rescued March 9th, 2024 from Hidden Gem Rescue
WNewt was found as a stray with puppies in North Carolina in the aftermath of Hurriane Helene.
She is a queensland blue heeler and lives up to her name as rthe queen of pack and a welcome addition.

HISTORY

I rode show jumpers professionally into my 30's, then worked in Network Broadcast News and Sports. But dog behavioral training has always been a huge part of my life.

In 2003 I co-owned NY Bred Race horse: Willfulness. When he retired from racing, I retrained him for a second chance.

TROUBLES was given to me by Canamonda Chesapeake after he became too aggressive for their pack. My JRT Ripley had lost her sidekick and needed a companion. She picked him, and they were inseparable until she died in 2015. Troubles passed in Nov of 2022, but not before he passed his wisdom on to Pops who has taken up being my sidekick.
